The Big Black Giant!!

Is it a cow? Is it a horse? Is it a big woolly mammoth?
What's that I see??

What's that I see??

For our last day of the holiday we went to Clenston to walk through the woods. We parked the car and turned the corner and ahead of us in the distance we could see this huge black monster!! I’d met him once before, when Aunty Susie had brought Shelby over for a walk, but he was with his pet human and we didn’t get to know each other.
You want to walk past me?

He really was very handsome, and very, very BIG.. heaps bigger than me..

Saying Hello

Saying Hello

He may have been big but he was good fun and it was just a nuisance that I was still on my lead, otherwise we could have had a grand time. As it was I just went a bit berserk and probably ended up making a fool of myself.

He wanted to come on our walk with us but luckily some other people came walking down the track with their Springers so we left him to entertain them and got on with our walk. A bit further along the track we met another lot of people so we decided to go a different way to usual. It was great fun.. loads and loads of crispy leaves to run wild in.

Clenston new path

We ended up crossing our usual path, but before that we found a boundary marker at the top of a hill – marking the boundary between Clenston and Stickland.

So.. that was the last walk of the holiday, tomorrow daddy will have to go back to the office and mummy and I will be back to our usual walks.
